The High Mountain Lodge features spacious guest rooms; most with fireplaces and all with private baths--though the bathrooms tend to be small and compact. Instead of closets, most of the rooms have hooks and coat hangars. Choose a room opening onto the pool atrium or pick a brighter room or suite facing west across the Spring Branch valley of Crooked Creek. Many of the rooms also receive free wi-fi. If you are attending a function that you'll have to bring a lot of clothes for, in terms of closet space, we suggest either of the suites, Room 7, or room 13.
The rooms above the Atrium (11-14) all have private entrances you can drive to as well as more spacious bathrooms, though the rooms themselves have less space.
Rates quoted are double occupancy. If the room can accommodate additional people, whether through existing furniture or by means of roll-away beds, we charge $25 for each additional adult and child 13 and over per day and $15 for each additional child aged 2 to 12 per day. Children under two years old are free. Note: because of insurance limitations, we do not provide cribs for infants and toddlers.
Dog-friendly rooms. We charge $15 per night for a dog, which includes a "doggie welcome basket" with treats, a toy, and "pickup bags." We welcome dogs into all our rooms. Please see our Policies page for more information on our dog policy.
Flexible Room Configurations Several of the rooms interconnect and are ideal for larger families or for couples traveling together. Read below, or call us or e-mail us and tell us about your party, and we'll suggest the best solution.
The High Mountain Lodge boasts two suites, one with a view of the indoor pool atrium and the other with a panormic view of the Spring Branch valley with Sheep Mountain in the background. Both suites have fireplaces and single daybeds, and the sofas in the sitting rooms are sofa-sleepers so that the rooms can easily accommodate families--a maximum of 5 in either suite.
Enjoy the ambience of the pool atrium, which also encloses the jetted hot tub and the sauna. Off the Atrium there’s a game room boasting a fireplace, pool table, a foosball table, a large television with many satellite channels and DVD and VCR players to watch videos. It's the ideal space to play and relax.
Is quiet more your style? The High Mountain Lodge has a library where you can curl up by the fire to read the book you chose from a wide and eclectic selection.
